Kitchen and bathrooms feature copper sinks and designer lighting including many antique fixtures. The serious cook will be greeted by a 1930’s restored six-burner stove with retro-fitted electric ovens, and the cherry cabinets surround the well-lit open plan with center island. The huge working fireplace is surrounded by an antique English gothic chimneypiece while the faux library one is a highly unusual French Art Nouveau antique.
The forty foot Living Room with its regulation pool table and entertainment center is open to the Dining and Kitchen with eight french doors opening to the back deck which stretches the length of the house to its corner hot tub.
The enormous Master Suite features two his and hers sides with oversized shower and whirlpool in the middle. Closets are room-sized and multiple for this and the other bedrooms which also feature their own baths and walk-in closets. The main floor bedroom which is currently used as the owner’s office has its own bath and shower, and the finished basement area also has a half-bath, multiple walk-in cedar closets as well as the laundry room, wine cellar and storage/HVAC/Central Vac and other utilities.
The home and barn have separate wells and mound systems with complete water treatment and RO at the home.
Your horses will be in perfect comfort both summer and winter with indoor arena boasting irrigation, turbo fans, charming lanterns and shuttered windows, a gothic chapel door, toilet and laundry facilities, indoor and outdoor wash stall and two tack rooms with 14 spacious, matted stalls. Turnout is on lush pastures of two to five acres. All pastures have non-freezing pumps, sheds and heavy oak fences. The pole barn houses the farm's own timothy mix hay (1200-1600 per season).
